Located at 1600m on the road to the Col d'Aubisque, built in the 50s, the restaurant is set on a mountainside with a panoramic terrace overlooking the Gourette cirque. Jean-Jacques, a chef by trade who took over the restaurant from his parents in 1966, and his wife Josette, continue to offer their traditional home-cooked cuisine at lunchtime only (Garbure, fried local ham/piperade, piece of beef plus side dish, cheese and dessert).
