SAS Laiterie de la Nive

This cheese dairy is located in Saint-Jean-le-Vieux, a stone's throw from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. It's a family-run, artisanal cheese factory producing 100% ewe's milk. Production and maturing take place on site. There's also a store for direct sales. You can also visit the workshop and cellars. Visits for individuals take place on Friday mornings (by prior arrangement), and groups (50 people maximum) must also book in advance. Tasting tours cost 4? per person.
