Les ateliers dégustations Kultur Piment
A farming estate since 1856, the Lurmintoën Borda farm has seen generations of farmers. In 2011, Jean-Baptiste turned to growing PDO Espelette chillies.
From seed selection to planting, from harvesting to the production of powder and by-products, he and his wife Mélanie carry out all the production stages. This year, Mélanie and Jean-Baptiste will be sharing their expertise through tours of the farm (history of PDO peppers, production stages, etc.) and tasting workshops, recounting their lives as producers.
Two options are available: the Atelier Dégustation Découverte, including a tour and tasting of Kultur Piment products; and the Atelier Dégustation Gourmet, including a tour and a gourmet spicy aperitif, as well as advice on how to use the products and recipe cards to prolong the pleasure of tasting at home.
