Ferme Uhartia
One of the last autarkic duck farms in the southwest, Uhartia Farm offers foie gras and duck confit made exclusively from the farm's own production. The ducks are raised for 4 months before being force-fed for 15 days on grain corn to produce excellent processed products. The ducks are fed and force-fed with non-GMO maize harvested on the farm and are not vaccinated. In July and August, visit of the farm (on call). Open from Monday to Friday and Saturday morning. Present on the markets of Anglet (Thursday), Oloron and Jurançon (Friday), Hendaye and Laruns. Products present at the Farmily & co, in Bayonne.
