Ferme Bonnemason - GAEC Anglas
Located in Gère-Bélesten, in the heart of the Ossau valley, Ferme Bonnemason is nestled in an unspoilt setting close to Laruns. It offers an authentic immersion experience, welcoming visitors and giving them the opportunity to learn more about the breeder?s trade and discover the animals and cheeses.
For over a century, Ferme Bonnemason has been perpetuating know-how handed down from generation to generation, in the heart of the Béarn mountains. The farm raises 400 Basque-Béarnaise ewes and around 50 Blonde d?Aquitaine cows, fed with the farm?s own resources and bred with respect for tradition. Farmhouse cheeses made from raw ewe's milk are rich in flavor and character. From summer to autumn, the flocks climb to higher altitudes, giving birth to cheeses with unique aromas linked to mountain flora. Direct sales.
