O' Gascon

You are in the most beautiful district of the city of Pau, around the castle, in the pedestrian streets. Le Gascon has been there for many years.

It is a traditional restaurant which proposes a typically local cooking, namely the "garbure" and of course, the "poule au pot". You will be able to choose our chicken broth and vermicelli as a starter, and the Basque cake for dessert, among others... The owner buys his products locally, even the wine that you will choose for your meal: Jurançon for the white or St Mont for the red. Everything is homemade, especially the foie gras, right up to the dessert.
