Domaine Bordaxuria

In the heart of the Basque mountains, 5 minutes from Saint Jean Pied de Port, Bordaxuria came back to life in 2014 thanks to the will of Elorri RECA and Brice ROBELET. They took over the family vineyards (9.5 hectares planted on terraces of about 30 years old) and decided to produce their own wines.

Animated by the respect and the passion of their land, they work their vineyard in organic culture. They will be happy to welcome you in the heart of their vineyard to make you discover their white, rosé and red wines, and also the AOP Ossau-Iraty cheeses produced by the two sisters of Elorri on the Larraldea farm in Saint Just Ibarre.

How to get there

Bordaxuria is located in the commune of Ispoure, 2km from the center of Saint Jean Pied de Port. Arriving in front of the Ispoure church, walk down the main street, past the Ispoure pediment and over a stone bridge. After this bridge, turn right and continue straight on until you reach the next crow's-foot, where you turn right twice. After 100 m, you'll arrive in front of the winery and in the heart of the vineyards.
