Jardin Epicurien
Located in Morlanne, this artisanal and experimental garden is a space for the pleasure of gardening, free picking of flowers, fruits, vegetables, and seed sharing. In January 2022, a plantation of 110 trees (endemic varieties) came from a local artisanal nursery, where they are grown without irrigation and bare root; another 100 will be planted by the end of 2022. Our trials include growing without irrigation, ecological mowing, cooking with wood chips, slug management, fruit sweetness testing (sugar/vitamin correlation), creation of a bioclimatic greenhouse, and a pond fed only by rainwater. A reproducible blue corn crop (more proteinous) allows for a more environmentally friendly meat production. Finally, a piece of forest on the roadside will be created to welcome walkers who will be able to refresh themselves.
