Fromagerie Oreka

Located on the heights of Sare, a village classified as one of France's most beautiful villages, and facing the "La Rhune" mountain, we raise our Prim Holstein dairy cows and our local Manex tête rousse dairy ewes on our family farm.

For 14 years now, we've been making the most of the milk produced by our cows and ewes on our farm by making a range of farmhouse cheeses and yogurts.

We market our products under the brand name "OREKA" in Basque, which means Balance.

The balance that is important to us between the farmer?s work with his animals and the producer?s work in making his dairy products.

Our herds are fed on pasture, dry forage and cereals.
