In the heart of the Basque country, 5 minutes from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, come and discover a traditional inn.

On the shady terrace in summer, or in the dining room by the fireplace in winter, the restaurant offers the pleasures of good family cooking. Martine and Jean-Pierre prepare menus based on the specialities of the Basque country. Most of the ingredients used are local, ensuring the freshness and quality of the dishes on offer. For example, the lamb is raised on the family farm, the truitelles come from the village of Ahaxe, and the ewe?s milk cheese is matured by local producers. Martine will prepare a local dish for you to enjoy the rich flavors of the region. The restaurant can be hired for banquets.

How to get there

From the Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port tourist office, head for Bayonne. At the end of the village, opposite the Lidl, take the road on your left and drive through the village of Uhart-Cize, passing the church. Continue straight on to the village of Lasse. The restaurant is on your left, next to the fronton.
