Guided tour of the open-air Basque pig nursery, and presentation of our "Galerie pédagogique des Jambons". You'll discover the story of how an endangered breed came to be saved, and how it is now repopulating the Basque mountains thanks to Pierre Oteiza and a handful of breeders.
Enjoy an hour-long visit followed by a tasting.
Two visit times: 10:30 am and 3:30 pm. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance.
Bring closed shoes, prefer baby carriers to strollers, and keep dogs on a leash.
The tour does not include a lunch reservation. Please book in advance
