Coopérative Belaun - Visite de ferme et dégustation

Located in Les Aldudes, Belaun is a cooperative of farmers renowned for their expertise in livestock farming and farm-based processing.

Founded in 2010 by seven farmers from the valley, Belaun was born out of their shared desire to produce their own farm-to-table products. The farmers are all natives of the valley and have made it their home. Their farms benefit from an exceptional setting in the heart of the mountains, surrounded by natural meadows, heathlands, and oak and chestnut forests.

We work with ancient local breeds (Basque pigs, black-headed Manex sheep, and Pirenaika cows) and are committed to the Kintoa Ham PDO, the Ossau-Irati PDO, and the Harpea Basque Cow initiative, to guarantee the quality and flavor of our products.
