Ferme Bachoc

The Bachoc farm is located in Suhescun, near Saint-Jean Pied de Port and Irissarry. It also offers on-site bed and breakfast and a well-equipped campsite

You can visit their built heritage "Etxe" the Basque house and the family farm labelled "Accueil Paysan". The cowshed with the Blonde d'Aquitaine cows and calves under the mother, the Kintoa pigs on the loose, the sheepfold and its Manech red-headed ewes, a local breed. Bruno presents the transformation of sheep's milk into AOC Ossau Iraty cheese, Camembert style ewe's cheese and ewe's curd. The products are on sale on the spot.
