Since the dawn of time, creatures sometimes hostile, sometimes friendly have inhabited the mountains, rivers and forests of the Basque Country. During this walk, we will evoke some of these characters. There is only one step from fiction to reality, which we will take by discovering the history of the witch-hunt and the appalling trials that inflamed the Basque Country in the 17th century. The village, which was directly affected by this dark period, wanted to pay tribute to these innocent victims by means of a memorial that advocates tolerance and the duty to remember.
