You are invited to participate in this free tour, led by a program coordinator from the CPIE Littoral Basque.

This fun and interactive tour uses four modules to explain the natural phenomena and human factors involved in coastal evolution.

Some of these changes are caused in particular by erosion and coastal flooding.

Every winter, storms and strong swells force local authorities to close off access to the coastline and beaches.

Winter storms can also cause flooding that damages coastal infrastructure and erodes beaches.

In response to these hazards, the Community Basque Country, in close collaboration with the municipalities, is implementing numerous measures to best manage and prevent the effects of coastal risks.
