Une rentrée dans le noir : Jean-Christophe Tixier

The Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle Municipal Library is hosting an evening event titled “A Return to the Dark” at the library.

During this event, you’ll have the pleasure of discovering or rediscovering Jean-Christophe Tixier.

Jean-Christophe Tixier was born in 1967. He currently lives between Pau and the Landes Coast. Founder of the Pau crime fiction festival %AB Un Aller-Retour dans le Noir %BB, he is also a renowned children’s author (with some forty critically acclaimed titles). His first novel, *Les mal-aimés*, winner of the 2019 Prix Transfuge for Best French Crime Novel, was noted by the press. %AB In 2026, his novel %AB Une employ%E9e mod%E8le %BB won the Claude Chabrol Prize. His latest title: *Une employ%E9e mod%E8le*, published by Editions Albin Michel in 2026.
