Udakoak / Les Estivales d'Arnaga / Soirée Guitaraldia - Jean Marie Ecay et Marc Berthoumieux

In Cambo, as part of the Estivales d’Arnaga festival—the very stronghold of Edmond Rostand—Jean-Marie Ecay’s music, the legend of the band Itoiz, will take center stage. Accompanied by three leading figures of European jazz, he’ll treat himself to a special guest from Marc’s circle: the legendary accordionist Berthoumieux, of whom his mentor Marcel Azzola himself said he had “Berthoumis’d” him. Jazz (Dee Dee Bridgewater, Richard Bona, Youn Sun Nah?), chanson (Charles Aznavour, Maurane, Grand Corps Malade?), Marc Berthoumieux accompanies, composes, and produces, all while pursuing a solo career that has earned him a nomination for the Django d’Or.

A pop-up guinguette will be open for food and drinks starting at 7 p.m., in the unique setting of the Jardins d’Arnaga and the subtle atmosphere created by a lounge DJ.
