"Long forgotten, the play *Les Papillotes*, written in 1928 by Rosemonde Gérard and premiered in 1931 at the Grand Théâtre de l’Odéon, had never before been performed in Agen, despite its tribute to the local poet Jasmin and to the city itself. Rediscovered by Christian Moulié while researching the author’s ties to Agen, this play is being revived today to mark the 160th anniversary of her birth.

Thanks to the support of the City of Cambo-les-Bains, the Comédiens du Chêne theater troupe, directed by Viviane Da Silva, is presenting this original production in the Arnaga Gardens, enriched by the visual and musical creations of Yohann Rochard. A unique opportunity to discover local theatrical heritage.”

A pop-up open-air café will be open for food and drinks starting at 7 p.m., set in the unique setting of the Arnaga Gardens and featuring the subtle atmosphere created by a lounge DJ.
