This is a mountainous Pyrenean stage, with a positive vertical drop of 4150 meters via the Aspin and Tourmalet passes before reaching Gavarnie-Gèdre at the end of a 20 km climb.
Start-up operations will take place at the Philippe Tissié - Tour des Géants stadium, avenue Gaston Lacoste, where Tadej Pogacar is expected, as this year, to inaugurate the totem pole for the 2025 edition.
