Sur les traces des bouquetins
Follow in the footsteps of the ibex, the mountain emblem with its majestic horns. Locally extinct since 1910, it was reintroduced to the Pyrenees in 2010 thanks to conservation programs. Accompanied by a guide, you'll discover its history, its way of life, the actions taken to preserve it and the importance of protecting its habitat. You'll travel through the spectacular landscapes of the Aspe valley, with the chance to observe ibex in their natural habitat. The hike is adapted to their needs (600 to 800 m ascent), with regular breaks to observe and enjoy the surroundings.
Practical information: car-pooling possible, for children aged 10 and over. Bring hiking boots, appropriate clothing, water, sun protection and a picnic. Departure guaranteed from 6 participants.
