Spectacle de marionnettes "Polichinelle"

A container filled with all sorts of desires, but also some biting surprises! In that case, “Let’s arm ourselves, go for it” is a good motto! Polichinelle is the legendary figure of puppet theater throughout Europe, long before Guignol. Louis Edmond Duranty (1833–1880), a novelist, understood this well. Toward the end of his life, he collected and published some of our hero’s adventures. It is in the hope of seeing him regain his place in the spotlight—just like his cousin Punch, so popular across the Channel—that we have brought one of his “extravagant” stories back into the spotlight.
