Spectacle de capes et d'épées - Le Bossu

With performances rich in history, period costumes, and craftsmanship, the Lames sur Seine theater company, founded in 1998 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, sets out to bring to life the story of “The Hunchback” as well as other classics of swashbuckling literature.

Adapted from Paul Féval’s novel, the production recounts the story of the Chevalier de Lagardère with a few modifications, while retaining the atmosphere of the original novel. To inject rhythm into the characters’ adventures, no fewer than sixteen duels punctuate the play’s progression. Between fifteen and twenty fencers—who are also actors—bring the characters to life as they navigate the story.

This family-friendly show is intended for both adults and children.
