Eliane Elias is an internationally renowned Brazilian pianist, singer, and composer, and the recipient of several Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards. Her style combines modern jazz, Brazilian music, and great classical virtuosity, with a very fluid piano style and a soft, instantly recognizable voice. She is often accompanied by her husband and longtime collaborator, double bassist Marc Johnson, a leading figure in contemporary jazz. Johnson is best known for having played with Bill Evans in the pianist’s famous trio.

Throughout her career, Eliane Elias has collaborated with many jazz greats, including Stan Getz, Chick Corea, Jack DeJohnette, and Toots Thielemans. She has recorded more than 30 albums as a bandleader or co-leader.
