La Compagnie La Fleur du Boucan has chosen to revisit George Orwell's Animal Farm with a mischievous twist, dissecting the mechanisms of power and power relations that make up life in society.

Set in a country kitchen with a table, an old buffet and a few bales of straw, a male and female narrator tell the story using simple utensils: objects come to life, characters appear and the space is transformed into a veritable political battlefield.

Without really seeing it coming, we slide from laughter to horror and from utopia to dictatorship.

This adaptation has been designed to be accessible to children aged 8 and upwards: for them, live performance is the best way to offer food for thought, food for thought and food for reinvention! And for us too! Bravo!
