Day 10: CARRERE -TARON -PORTET stage
Portet welcomes Txomin IRIBERRI's flock of 400 ewes for the night
For walkers:
2:30 pm: departure from Taron. Route: Taron/Mascaraas/Castetpugon/Portet (12 km).
6pm: herd passes Portet crossroads, climb to village 2.5km.
6:30pm: arrival at the town hall square. Reception of the herd and shepherds.
Evening: the Comité des Fêtes organizes an evening of entertainment by the "Cantar per cantar" singing group, and is preparing a "Paysan" meal (book before September 14 at the post office).
