Randonnée pelote en Arbéroue

After a lovely hike in the hills above the Arbéroue Valley, you’ll take part in an introductory session on Basque pelota at the fronton in Saint Martin d’Arbéroue. Much more than just a sport, it’s a true tradition deeply rooted in the local culture. As he explains the game, your guide, Laurent, will introduce you to the different disciplines of this iconic sport (bare-handed, pala, and chistera). Equipment to bring: backpack, shoes with treaded soles, windbreaker, rain gear, sun protection, and a hat.
