Randonnée en quadricycle électrique à Iraty, rencontre avec une bergère et pause gourmande en estive

Departing from Uhart-Cize (2 min from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port), your electric quadricycle will take you through wild and spectacular landscapes.

Accompanied by Olivier, you'll cross the Basque mountains at a gentle pace, punctuated by breaks to discover the local fauna, flora and history.

Around 11 a.m., you'll arrive at the mountain hut of Denise, shepherdess and cheese-maker, for a privileged meeting. She'll share her daily routine with you, and show you how Ossau-Iraty PDO cheese is traditionally made, as well as her other farm products.

Gourmet tasting overlooking the Iraty panorama, with farmhouse cheese, Basque charcuterie, Basque cake and local drink, offering a moment of sharing and immersion in the terroir and pastoral culture.

Return to the valley, last panoramas, arrival around 2pm.
