We set off from Itxassou along the crests of Mondarrain, the emblematic Labourd peak with its distinctive stone cap. Along the way, gorse moors, beech forests and boulders accompany us, with the chance to meet pottoks, betizus and free-ranging ewes. At the summit, crowned by ancient remains and a Basque flag, a 360° view of the ocean and mountains awaits us!
