Discover Espelette chilli pepper in the heart of its terroir.
Starting from the church in Itxassou, this family hike takes you up the slopes of Mont Atharri, through pastoral landscapes typical of the Basque country, dominated by the flight of griffon vultures.
The hike culminates in a visit to the Fagaldia farm, a small family-run producer of Espelette chilli peppers, where you'll learn all about Basque know-how and rural life.
A convivial outing, accessible to all, adaptable to the pace of the group.
Meet at 9am at the Itxassou church parking lot.
