Paysage, risques littoraux et adaptation aux changements climatiques à Urrugne

As part of the coastal risk awareness program developed in collaboration with the Basque Country Urban Community, we invite you to participate in a walking tour exploring the landscape along the Basque Corniche in Urrugne.

During a short walk along the heights of the Basque Corniche, a program coordinator from the CPIE Littoral Basque will help you interpret this landscape, which is at once ancient, natural, and man-made.

You’ll discover the natural phenomena that have shapedthis sensitive natural area and gain insight into how humans have adapted—with varying degrees of success—to the “challenges” of this iconic region.

Take this opportunity to better understand past developments and to imagine together what the future may hold.

We’ll learn how current natural hazards are monitored and gain a better understanding of the role played by local residents.
