At 8.15pm: screening of the winning film of the Lux Audience Prize

Each year, the European Parliament awards the Lux Prize to one of five films representing the continent?s cultural diversity.

The winning film, "Sorda" by Spanish director Eva Libertad, was chosen by citizens from all over Europe, as well as by Members of Parliament.

The drama tells the story of Ángela, a deaf woman expecting a child from her hearing partner. Ángela?s fears about motherhood and her ability to communicate and interact with her daughter intensify as she confronts the reality of raising a baby in a world not adapted to her needs.

This edition also features a pre-screening animation to enable audiences to learn more about Europe and the projects supported by Pistes Solidaires.
