Mai du Théâtre - Dirau

"Dirau" is the new choreographic and musical creation by the Bilaka collective, designed for public spaces and non-dedicated venues.

Drawing on the rhythms and pulses of traditional Basque music, four dancers and a musician reflect on how to build Basque dance "from scratch", in a piece that explores continuous, infinite movement.

From the stage to the street, "Dirau", light and mobile, brings audiences together around this hypnotic choreographic trance in vibrant public spaces.
