He leaves the plains of the Far North, cursed by a mermaid he caught by accident. He escapes on skates, a scooter, and a cardboard plane. He discovers Scotland, heads south on the back of a mule, murders a few bagpipers along the way, and searches for love—as always. But the actor in the three-piece suit remains seated—such is the madness of the show. His sidekick in a swimsuit bustles around him with hundreds of pieces of cardboard bearing the names of countries, props, or creatures encountered along the way.
