Lectures Flottantes

Pierre Loti, naval officer, writer and academician, lived in Hendaye for 32 years and fell in love with the Basque country.

The Association Les Amis de Pierre Loti à Hendaye et au Pays Basque, in partnership with the Association Trois Mâts Basque, presents its program of Lectures Flottante 2026.

Come aboard the sardinière l'Alba and let us take you to places known to the writer, highlighted in his texts, which will be read and commented on by members of the association.
