Le Temps d'Aimer la Danse - Cie La Mangrove - Hubert Petit-Phar - Outre-Rage (création)

Hubert Petit-Phar, a key figure and charismatic Caribbean choreographer whose career has taken him from Béjart to the Dance Theater of Harlem, has created a solo for the festival with choreographer Thomas Lebrun. Outre-Rage is a sincere exploration of a ?tumultuous body? and the poignant story of its multiple incarnations, troubles and rebirths.

With a career marked by multiple crossings from France to the United States, then a return to Guadeloupe, Hubert Petit-Phar's generous dance embodies the successive skins worn by those forced to leave. As they adapt, bodies are transformed and identity markers are shaken and redistributed. How do we preserve the coherence of self and body in the tumult of the world? The two artists invite us to respond through the poetic power of dance.
