On Christmas Day, Moïse (Max Boublil), a sensitive and dedicated psychoanalyst, receives an emergency visit in his office from a patient unlike any other: Madeleine (Claire Nadeau). Desperately seeking a listening ear to confide in, Madeleine—whimsical, intrusive, and bursting with life—has no interest in the framework of psychoanalysis, keeping the mystery of her past to herself. In the midst of a personal crisis, Moïse, with the help of his supervising psychiatrist (Pierre-Olivier Scotto), will have to struggle against his growing emotions, as the specter of “mother-son” transference looms over his relationship with his patient.
