In the 1960s, the rural police officer kept an eye on the land belonging to the community and the activities taking place there. Lucien remembers the lime kilns and the active marble quarry, the residents maintaining the roads themselves, the major floods on the plateaus, the ritual spring festivities, and the complex organization of access to water, pastures, meadows, and woods for everyone. He was also a storyteller and loved to read while sitting under a tree. He’ll share his country stroll with you for an afternoon. A storytelling, theatrical, and interactive walk, followed by a shared snack.
