Journée médiévale au Château d'Urtubie : découverte d'un camp militaire

Members of the Briscous-based association "Les sentinelles de la Guivre" will recreate a military camp, allowing visitors to discover how the army was organized in the Middle Ages.

Arena Militaria: weapons demonstrations and fencing in armor (12th-15th centuries)

Children?s licea: introduction to foam swords and shields, with presentation of certificates

Viking combat: spear handling and troop movements

Coin workshop: minting coins and learning about monetary history

Heraldry workshop: creation of personalized coats of arms

Marc the blacksmith: traditional blacksmithing demonstrations

Small medieval market

Pillory and camp to visit: tents, kitchen area and medieval daily life
