Guinguette La Joyeuse, Cocanha en concert

The duo Cocanha challenges our relationship with folklore, a cultural concept steeped in taboos. For the two musicians, Lila Fraysse and Caroline Dufau, traditional Occitan music is the source of their creativity. From collected fragments and motifs emerge original melodies and lyrics, through a process of composition, transformation, and adaptation. Their work evokes both subversive Occitan memories and contemporary struggles.
