Did you know that some towns in the Basque Country celebrate a night similar to Halloween?
In those days, turnips and gourds were gutted, given a face and a small candle, and placed on roadsides to frighten neighbors and show the way to the souls of the dead.
It was called "Gau Beltza" or "Arimen Gaua".
Children accompanied by their parents.
