Fascinated by the lullabies of his homeland, Federico García Lorca appropriated their blend of melancholy and harshness, in texts as arid as they were inhabited. In 2026, the 90th anniversary of the Andalusian poet?s assassination, Barbara Hannigan, Bertrand Chamayou and the Solistes de l?Académie Ravel pay tribute to him. The concert culminates in George Crumb?s Ancient Voices of Children, a veritable song of the Spanish land.
