Fascinated by Chopin?s Preludes, Basque composer Ramon Lazkano conceived in 2020 a set of 19 Preludes imagined as "antagonistic mirrors", to be subtly integrated into the cycle of his Polish elder. Winner of the 2010 Chopin Competition, Yulianna Avdeeva leads the soloists of the Académie Ravel in this mosaic of sound, where instrumental gestures and epochs collide to reveal each other more clearly.
