FEMMES + BOLERO
"Women" brings together works by Janine Charrat, Hélose Jocqueviel, and Christine Hassid, offering three unique perspectives on the female experience.
This evening also serves as a special tribute to Janine Charrat, a towering artist, prima ballerina, visionary choreographer, and a pivotal figure in 20th-century French dance. Her exceptional career, her artistic rigor, and her commitment to creativity continue to inspire generations of performers and choreographers.
In the second half, Fábio Lopez presents a new work, *2026*, set to Maurice Ravel’s legendary “Boléro.” Driven by the irresistible energy of this universal score, the choreography sweeps the dancers into a hypnotic crescendo set in the world of French boxing, culminating ina finale of striking intensity. An evening not to be missed!
