Exposition : Vinyles 2.0

A series of panels tells the story of the LP, the main medium for commercial sound recordings in the second half of the 20th century. It covers the manufacturing process, the economy and the graphic art used by artists and record companies. Vinyl went so far as to influence the very creation of artists, to the point of generating a specific form of recording for the popular masterpieces known to the greatest number of people today. The exhibition also presents the different types of vinyl: from 78 rpm to picture disc to flexible vinyl. Accompanying the exhibition is a "vinyl lounge", where you can relax and listen to a selection of vinyl nuggets put together by Biblio64, as well as vinyl produced by local labels.
