Exposition : Mecs Planterose "Autoportraits" et "Le premier des biens c'est l'eau"
A series of portraits and socially conscious artworks created by a Planterose collective called "Mecs." Among the works on display are “Fermer le robinet” by Laszlo, 17, who painted a picture of a world drained of water, as well as "School of Fish" by Abdoul, 15, who creates collages from images found in magazines to highlight the impact of our actions on nature and ocean pollution. While every artist deserves to be mentioned, here are those who participated in the project “Water Is the Greatest Treasure”: Laszlo, Adama, Max, Marie, Kylian, Aboubacar C, Aboubacar D, Enzo, Marinna, Abdul, and Matie. For “Self-Portraits,” the artists are Laszlo, Adama, Matie, Abdul, Aboubacar C, Aboubacar D, Enzo, Amel, Kylian, Marie, Joao, Lucas, Jayson, and Cédric. An exhibition that is both powerful and poignant.
Opening reception on Saturday, July 18, at 6 p.m. The gallery is closed on Thursdays.
