Documentary exhibition highlighting the rich artistic and intellectual exchanges between the poet and the musician.

The Jean Cocteau/Igor Markevitch, correspondances et résonances exhibition features over thirty years of correspondence between the poet and the musician, donated to the town of Anglet by Markevitch?s executor, Jean-Claude Marcadé.

This exhibition, which benefits from numerous loans* to make it as illustrated as possible, is a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in a story of friendship that has been little documented until now. It features a large number of previously unpublished works, including an exceptional collection of drawings by Jean Cocteau.
