in a visual and thematic continuum that unites light and darkness, the

earthly cycle of day and night, the photographic image, and musical sound.

In this exhibition, Ihintza-Chlo%EB Hargous Aranburu presents photographs of architectural artifacts,

variations in wall colors, and graphic inscriptions that turn out to be

letters, numbers, words, and signs—some of which are encrypted. Image after image, we establish

connections between the variouselements; echoes emerge within a series that unfolds in

a bright light that leaves little room for shadow. A turning point occurs in the series when

darkness sets in; the image is turned upside down.
