Exposition Ex(s)istere, une ode au végétal sauvage

Accompanied by visual artist Amandine Polet, the Conservatoires botaniques nationaux (CBN) invite you to discover an original work combining botany, artistic creation and poetry: an ode to wild plants! The Ex(s)istere exhibition features a series of 14 panels, each devoted to a plant species chosen by one of the 14 CBNs. Common or rare, these plants all carry a message: they tell us about our relationship with living things, testify to the challenges facing certain territories and challenge us about their future... The content is based on the scientific expertise of the CBNs, while leaving room for emotion and imagination, notably through the artist?s poetic drawings and texts.
