Exposition : Espaces funéraires et sacrés dans les estives d'Aspe

Images are omnipresent in contemporary society, shaping representations and the ways in which the world is told. They often play a growing role in public debate on territorial issues, and in their political and institutional treatment. In this context, the relationships between images and territories are multiple and complex: while some territories may suffer from a lack of representations in iconographic productions, others, conversely, may experience a surplus of images, which sometimes fuel erroneous or incomplete representations of territorial realities.
