Exposition d'Henri Leichtenaur et de Don Enrique Garabatos de los Arboles
Henri Leichtenaur knows Enrique Garabatos very well, a prominent Spanish graphic artist from La Massana, the prestigious art school in Barcelona, and Enrique has passed on to him his passion for trees—particularly their pain, which the hamadryads of our time have instilled in him. His approach sometimes leans toward abstraction, yet one can still sense that it conveys the movement of living things. Probably supernatural beings inhabit his trees. He is a contemporary painter who moves between figuration and poetic expression. His work explores the light of landscapes until they shatter.
Come discover a retrospective of their works at Maison Solami, perched on the heights of the Adour.
Opening reception on August 2 at 6 p.m., featuring a performance by musician Jean-Louis Hargous.
